Dr. DONG got her Ph.D. in Institute of Applied Ecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and has been working as a research associate in National institute for Environmental Studies of Japan for 3.5 years. She joined Shanghai Jiao Tong University as an associate professor since 2016. Her research mainly focused on industrial ecology, low carbon development, footprint studies, air pollution and other energy and environmental problems by employing input-output analysis (IO), lifecycle analysis (LCA), emergy methods and CGE and GAINS models. Up to now, she has published more than 40 peer-reviewed papers in reputable environmental journals. She has also been invited as anonymous reviewers for many famous international SCI journals of this domain, such as Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, Applied Energy, Energy, Journal of Industrial Ecology, Journal of Cleaner Production, etc. She has undertaken one project from National Natural Science Foundation (NSFC) for Young Scholars and one talent project from Shanghai Jiao Tong University as PI, and also participated more than 17 important projects including NSFC Major Program, NSFC Key Program and NSFC International Cooperation and Exchange Fund.
